The authors of this poster used Genomic Solutions’ DIGE software together with the ProPic II for reliable and accurate spot excision from 2D DIGE gels without post-staining, followed by automated in-gel protein digestion on the ProPrep and mass spectrometric analysis.
Here the ProPic II was used for excision of entire lanes from 1D gels. Subsequent automatic in-gel digestion was carried out with the ProGest and then the ProMS was used to clean up the resulting peptide mixtures and spot them onto MALDI targets for further mass spectrometric analysis.
