Introducing the ProPrep II

ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN JUNE 5, 2007 -- The ProPrep II is our newest solution for
automated preparation of proteins for mass spectrometric analysis.
This instrument bridges the gap between protein
separation techniques and protein identification by mass spectrometry. Sample preparation steps including
destaining, washing, reduction & alkylation, digestion, spotting on MALDI targets or transfer to LC/MS input
plates are combined on a single automated platform. This allows for rapid processing, minimizes the risk of
contamination and therefore reduces the chance of application errors and improves the quality of your data.
While building upon its proven successful predecessor,
the addition of many new features to the ProPrep II results in even better performance:
- Optimized for low abundance proteins
- In-gel and in-solution digestion
- True flow-through reaction block with built-in heating stage
- Spotting on MALDI targets from all major manufacturers and/or transfer of peptide solutions to MTPs or vials for LC/MS
- Sample splitting between multiple targets
- High throughput
- Full environmental control
- Cooled reagents
- Fully enclosed
- HEPA filtration
- Small platform
Improved performance for your precious samples
