More about GeneMachines® HybStation:
The GeneMachines® HybStation is the first automated system for the hybridization of microarrays. The unit automates all thermal and wash cycles for the hybridization of microarrays spotted on standard glass slides.
- The 12-position GeneMachines® HybStation allows for six different sets of hybridizations, while the individual ports allow for independent probe introduction for each microarray.
- Minimizes handling of microarrays, substantially reducing human error. That means better control over the experimental variables, resulting in increased reproducibility of the hybridization.
- Maximize hybridization through gentle and consistent agitation that enhances kinetics and removes "edge effects." This ensures that the target equally addresses all probes on the array.
- Increase your research flexibility by defining, editing and storing individual methods using the onboard microprocessor you control via an LCD touch screen or using the Methods Editor software on your PC.
- Programmable temperature control allows for stepwise annealing of probes based on their GC content, resulting in improved hybridization specificity and more reliable data.
- Hybridization set-up is easy with the built-in touch screen and the modular units. Unlike the manual cover slip method, the success of the hybridization is no longer dependent on individual technical skills or competency level.
- Specialized reagents precisely manufactured to maximize probe attachment and minimize background.
