About Digilab Genomic Solutions, Inc.
In December of 2007, Digilab, Inc. completed the purchase of the Genomic Solutions and MAIA Scientific businesses from Harvard Bioscience (NASDAQ: HBIO).
Digilab Genomic Solutions (DGS) provides innovative robotic and automation equipment for the global life science and biotechnology research community.
DGS develops and manufactures instrumentation, software, and consumables serving
genomics, proteomics, and automated high-throughput screening (HTS) and low
nano-liter dispensing. These systems and solutions enable researchers to perform complex, high volume experiments at a lower cost and in less time than traditional techniques.
The DGS and Digilab MAIA Scientific businesses have broadened the global footprint in both the Life Sciences Research pre-analytics market for Digilab. This supports Digilab’s commitment to provide downstream systems and solutions using novel sample prep, biomarker, and spectroscopy methods for use in healthcare, process control, and safety and security markets.
DGS instruments currently use the same technologies from the Cartesian, GeneMachines, and BioRobotics brands that have earned Genomic Solutions a highly recognized reputation for quality, consistency, and accuracy. Digilab, Inc has encompassed these attributes in the Digilab Family of Life Science Solutions and as a result DGS is expanding its Holliston, MA location. This is an excellent opportunity for several engineering, marketing and sales applicants to join a rapid paced organization where you can have real impact on the future success of the company.
